Phu Son Ward organizes "National Day to protect national security"

On the evening of August 13, the Security and Order Steering Committee of Phu Son Ward ( Thanh Hoa City) organized the "National Day for Protecting National Security" (ANTQ) in 2024 at Tran Phu residential group.

Tran Phu residential group has 10 social security groups and 1 security and order protection group. In the past time, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the street executive committee, the participation of political and social organizations and the participation of the people, the mass movement to protect national security and order has achieved many outstanding results.

Security and order in the street are always maintained, no unexpected incidents occur, no mass complaints. Every month, the Party cell issues resolutions for the residential groups to implement the directives of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the plans of the City People's Committee, the City Police on drug prevention, raising community awareness, and awareness of law compliance of the people in the street.

Regularly consolidate and improve the core force of social security groups and mediation groups and assign specific tasks to each individual to promptly detect and denounce crimes and coordinate with the ward police to prevent and promptly resolve incidents occurring in the area.

Propaganda work was promoted on the street's loudspeaker system and integrated into the activities of the residential groups. The propaganda content focused on the modus operandi of crimes such as theft, fraud, illegal drug trading and use; legal regulations on fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and relief.

The residential group has established 2 inter-family fire prevention and fighting teams and 1 public fire prevention and fighting point. The Party Committee, the street executive committee, and the street front working group have also established 10 mobilization teams and organized people to support the cost of installing security cameras, which is nearly 60 million VND. Since the security camera system has been put into operation, the security and order situation in the street has been ensured, supporting the ward police to crack a number of drug and property theft cases.

In addition, the residential group coordinated with the Front Committee to complete the mediation team and put it into effective operation. When conflicts and disagreements arose, the mediation team promptly grasped the situation, investigated the cause of the conflict and successfully mediated 10 cases, contributing to stabilizing the security and order situation in the area.

Along with that, every month the local police force and ward police have held meetings with the head of the residential group and the secretary of the department to discuss and promptly report on the security and order situation in the neighborhood. From there, there are drastic solutions such as checking temporary residence and temporary absence, especially for boarding houses and rooms, calling and warning cases with signs of violations to promptly prevent and handle...

At the festival, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement "All people protect national security" received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of Thanh Hoa City People's Committee and Phu Son Ward.
