Quang Tri women won first prize in the "Women's creative start-up and green transformation" contest in the Central region 2024

Today, September 27, in Quang Ngai province, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union held an award ceremony for the 2024 "Women's Creative Startup and Green Transformation" contest at the Central region level.

In this round, there are 25 excellent startup projects that passed the preliminary rounds to participate.

Of which, there are 22 projects belonging to 16 provinces and cities in the Central region and 3 projects belonging to the Vietnam Association of People with Disabilities. The results of the competition's organizing committee selected 1 Special Prize, 3 First Prizes, 4 Second Prizes, 5 Third Prizes, and 12 Encouragement Prizes.

Among them, a member of the Women's Union of Quang Tri province, Ms. Nong Thi Hanh, in Tan Xuyen village, Tan Hop commune, Huong Hoa district - Director of Ta Lu Khe Sanh Coffee Company Limited - the person in charge of implementing the project "Developing the value of Huong Hoa organic coffee" is 1 of 3 projects that won First Prize in the final round.

It is known that projects that win third prize or higher in the final round of the "Women's Creative Startup and Green Transformation" Competition in the Central region will continue to participate in the final round of the National Women's Startup Competition 2024, which will take place in Hanoi next October.

This is the 6th year that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union has organized the "Women's Creative Startup and Green Transformation" Contest.

This aims to encourage and motivate women of all classes and ages to actively participate in starting a business; searching for, selecting, and awarding prizes to honor enterprises/cooperatives/cooperative groups/business households owned or managed by women with outstanding initiatives in improving the production process of new products and services; new business models using renewable energy sources; organic, clean, circular, and environmentally friendly production.
