At each place he visited, the Deputy Prime Minister kindly inquired about the health and lives of the families, and expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids and those who contributed to the cause of national liberation and reunification. He hoped that the mothers and uncles would continue to live happily and healthily, and be a shining example for the younger generation to follow.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested local Party committees, authorities and functional units to continue to fully and promptly implement preferential policies for people with meritorious services; pay attention to taking good care of their material and spiritual lives, and effectively carry out the work of "Repaying gratitude" in the area.
