The Ministry of Public Security announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer and appointment of Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Security (Ministry of Public Security) to take up the position of Director of Lang Son Provincial Police.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung promised to continuously improve his political qualities, professional knowledge, working capacity, quickly grasp the work, and closely follow the direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, and the People's Committee of Lang Son province.

At the same time, uphold the spirit of solidarity, high unity, proactiveness, creativity, closeness to the grassroots, grasp the situation, together with the Board of Directors of Lang Son Provincial Police, build and effectively deploy key and focal tasks; focus on building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern provincial police force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung (born in 1978, hometown Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province); Master's degree, Bachelor's degree from People's Security Academy; Bachelor's degree from National Economics University, Bachelor's degree from National Academy of Public Administration, Senior in political theory.

Previously, Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung was appointed to the following positions and titles: Deputy Head of Department, Head of Department of the Economic Security Department; from June 2022 to present, he has been Deputy Director of the Economic Security Department.

Also at this conference, the Ministry of Public Security announced the decision to transfer Colonel Vu Nhu Ha, Director of Lang Son Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police.
