Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Ho Quang Buu awarded prizes to 5 excellent students of the VLSI - Physical Design microchip design class.

43 students are final year students and lecturers in the fields of Electronics - Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, IoT and IT from universities in Da Nang. They are focused on equipping practical knowledge in physical design of microchips, using specialized EDA tools and close to the practical requirements of the global chip design industry.

The main lecturer is Mr. Phil Hoang - Senior Technical Manager at Skyworks Solutions, Inc; also Founder & Chairman of TreSemi Organization. To date, 31 students have completed the VLSI training program and received certificates, including 5 outstanding students who were awarded by Vice Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee Ho Quang Buu at the graduation ceremony on the afternoon of August 8.

According to Mr. Phil Hoang, the students completed the course with a serious learning attitude, grasped the professional content and were able to apply it in practice. This is a positive signal showing the development potential of semiconductor human resources in Da Nang. Student Le Trong Quyen shared that, along with imparting in-depth knowledge, the class also opened up opportunities for students to confidently connect with international experts and businesses.

Immediately after the VLSI – Physical Design class, DSAC Center opened a specialized English class on professional communication and personal branding for semiconductor students. The program is taught by expert Mark Filshie, who has 18 years of experience in recruiting senior technology personnel in the Asian region.
