In the joyful atmosphere of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), many artists and beauties were extremely excited and proud to be selected to attend the grand parade at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi .

Meritorious Artist - Designer Duc Hung: Proud to be Vietnamese

Meritorious Artist - Designer Duc Hung shared with VietNamNet reporter: "The first feeling that comes back is the memory of 30 years ago, when I was just over 20 years old, having the honor of participating in the parade on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of National Day, September 2. At that time, I and artists such as People's Artist Lan Huong, People's Artist Le Khanh... woke up at 2am to concentrate, excited, nervous, and passionate about practicing.

Today, after 3 decades, that emotion has returned. Once again, I am wearing the costume of a brotherly ethnic group in the 54 ethnic groups, walking alongside artists and compatriots across the country. There is nothing more proud than seeing the national cultural foundation still preserved and developed sustainably.

Just the sound of music during the practice session, we can clearly feel the national spirit spreading like an affirmation to the world about the strong vitality of the country.

I am anxiously waiting for the day of training at My Dinh Stadium and the official moment of the parade at Ba Dinh Square. In my heart, a dream has been kindled that if there is an occasion for the 90th or 100th anniversary of National Day, despite my old age, I still hope to continue to participate, still maintaining the enthusiastic spirit of a Vietnamese son. I am proud to be a son of the Capital, to participate in the great event of the nation. I love Vietnam!", Meritorious Artist Duc Hung shared.

On his personal page, People's Artist Duc Long also posted a photo of him practicing with People's Artists Le Khanh and Lan Huong. He wrote: ''After 9 days of practice at Viet Xo Palace, we moved to My Dinh Stadium and Ba Dinh Square in unpredictable weather to practice and walk smoothly. It was not until September 2 that we completed the task. We had to arrange to spend 3 consecutive weeks seriously participating from beginning to end. For older artists, we had to try hard to keep up. Many famous artists wanted to join in the joy of the country but their health did not allow it and had to "fall off the chain" and could not follow the entire training program.''
