Vietravel Airlines has just added a new aircraft with registration number 9H-SWN from Avion Express - an aircraft leasing company and ACMI based in Lithuania. This aircraft will officially join the operation from November 24, to increase transport capacity during the peak Tet season.

Meanwhile, on November 26, Bamboo Airways will resume flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok after a year of suspending international flights for restructuring. According to CEO Luong Hoai Nam, this is a positive sign for the airline's recovery after a difficult period.

This November, Bamboo Airways also added an Airbus A320 aircraft with registration number JU-1410, bringing its fleet to eight. The airline plans to continue receiving new aircraft before 2024, with the goal of operating 18 aircraft by the end of 2025, if market conditions are favorable.

Vietnam Airlines Group has deployed a plan to lease 4 more Airbus A320/A321 aircraft, including 2 wet lease aircraft (including flight crew) to meet travel demand during Tet. Each aircraft is expected to operate about 180 flights during the peak period.

Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO) has just announced that it will provide more than 650,000 additional seats, equivalent to more than 3,000 flights on domestic routes in Vietnam during the Lunar New Year 2025.

Airfares for Tet At Ty 2025 are not only expensive but also scarce, especially on provincial routes. Although the price is double that of normal days, many flights are sold out during peak days.
