Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Kieu Thanh Binh, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of Hanoi Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company Limited, said that the history of Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House is always closely linked to the history of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

70 years ago, when returning to take over the Capital in October 1954, implementing the Party Central Committee's Decision, under the direct guidance of the Editorial Board of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House was established on the basis of taking over the IDEO (Far East India House) printing house at 24 Trang Tien.

At the end of April 1955, Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House began operating, printing a portion of Nhan Dan Newspaper. By April 30, the entire output of Nhan Dan Newspaper No. 425, published on May 1, 1955, printed in two colors with bright red flag-colored mantels, continuously flowed out from the LB 201 typographic roll printing machines. Since then, April 30 every year has been taken as the traditional anniversary of the establishment of Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House in Hanoi (now Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing One Member Co., Ltd. Hanoi).

Through historical stages, under the leadership of the Party and the Editorial Board of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House has continuously developed and matured, successfully completing its political tasks; organizing the production and printing of Nhan Dan Newspaper and its publications; Party documents of high quality, maintaining its leading position in the Party's printing enterprise sector...

At the ceremony, authorized by the President and Party leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan awarded the Third Class Labor Medal (for the second time) to the collective leadership, officers, employees and workers of Nhan Dan Hanoi Newspaper Printing Company Limited, recognizing the company's outstanding achievements in the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, reviewed the glorious 70-year tradition of Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House - now the Hanoi Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing One Member Limited Liability Company.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh said that through historical periods, the unit has continuously developed and excellently completed the task of printing press publications of Nhan Dan Newspaper, documents serving the Central Conference, important documents of the Party and State, directly contributing to propaganda work, orienting public opinion and building ideological foundations in the entire Party and people.

With a high sense of responsibility, the company always upholds tradition, overcomes many difficulties and challenges to maintain, develop and master modern printing technology.

"In recognition of the company's outstanding achievements over the past 70 years, the Party and State have awarded many noble awards, including 2 Independence Medals, First and Second Class; 3 Labor Medals, First, Second and Third Class, and today, the Third Class Labor Medal (for the second time) - a testament to the persistent, continuous and proud dedication of generations of the company's staff and employees," emphasized comrade Le Quoc Minh.

Praising the great efforts and achievements that Hanoi People's Newspaper Printing Company has achieved during the 70-year journey of construction and development, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh also requested the collective leadership, officers and employees of Hanoi People's Newspaper Printing Company to continue promoting tradition, solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, and effectively implementing key tasks in the coming time.
