According to a report from Vinh Loc High School, the man who repeatedly slapped a student in the face in the video that has been circulating on social media in recent days is teacher VXT, an English teacher currently working at Vinh Loc High School. The student in the video is NTH, a 7th grader at Pham Van Hinh Secondary School (Tay Do Commune).

Teacher VXT and NTH are cousins (H.'s father is teacher T.'s uncle). H.'s parents sent him to teacher T. to tutor her in English since he was in 3rd grade.

The cause of the incident was that while communicating with friends, H. used vulgar words to tell them that his cousin (teacher T)'s teaching was difficult to understand.

Angry because H. spoke impolitely to him, teacher T came to the house, yelled at and slapped H. (in the presence of H.'s mother).

Vinh Loc High School has requested a review of teacher VXT.

After the Principal of Vinh Loc High School received the information, he urgently convened a meeting of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, asking teacher T to come with his family to take care of and monitor the health of student H, and at the same time report and review to the Party Cell, Party Committee and Board of Directors of the school. In addition, Vinh Loc High School also requested professional groups to review, remind and inspect teachers in carrying out local activities in accordance with regulations.

Teacher T and his family took H. to the Central Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital for a health check. The result was that H. had a torn eardrum in his left ear. He is currently being cared for at Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital and his health is basically stable.

Previously, a video was circulated on social media sharing an incident that occurred at 9:34 a.m. on August 8, 2025, when a man believed to be a teacher currently working at Vinh Loc High School repeatedly slapped a male student in the face. According to the information circulated, the cause of the incident was because the male student said bad things about the teacher, causing the teacher to be upset and come to his house and act as shown in the clip.
