Reporting at the conference, Mr. Bui Van Kien, Deputy General Director of EVNNPT, said that in 2023, the corporation's power transmission output was nearly 222.7 billion kWh, an increase of 5.31% compared to 2022 and reaching 100.4% of the plan assigned by EVN. In 2024, EVN assigned a plan for 2024 with a power transmission output of 233.9 billion kWh. In the first 9 months of 2024, the power transmission output was more than 186.2 billion kWh, an increase of 11.5% over the same period in 2023 and equal to 79.63% of the 2024 plan.
Regarding the management and operation of the power transmission system, the corporation and its member units have focused on synchronously implementing technical and operational management solutions to prevent, stop and promptly handle incidents and unusual phenomena on the power grid.
In 2023 and the first 9 months of 2024, EVNNPT has focused on overcoming all difficulties to ensure financial targets and arrange sufficient capital for investment, construction, and management of the transmission grid.
In 2023 and the first 9 months of 2024, although EVNNPT's investment and construction work continued to face many difficulties, with the great efforts of EVNNPT and its member units, the corporation's investment and construction work has achieved very remarkable results.
In 2023, EVNNPT started 27 projects, including many important projects to ensure power supply such as: Solutions to ensure voltage requirements for the power transmission grid in the Northern region; 500 kV substations in Quang Tri, Binh Duong;... In particular, following the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Group to ensure power supply for the North in the following years, EVNNPT has focused and resolutely directed all resources to accelerate the implementation of the 500kV Line 3 projects from Quang Trach to Pho Noi and in 2023, the Nam Dinh 1 - Thanh Hoa 500kV Line project was started.
In the first 9 months of 2024, the Corporation has started 10 projects, the most typical of which are the 500kV Nam Dinh 1 - Pho Noi, Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa, Quang Trach - Quynh Luu transmission lines; 500kV Thanh Hoa substation; Installing capacitor banks to ensure voltage in the Northern region, 220kV Chau Thanh substation, etc.
Continued development efforts in the period 2025-2026
The overarching mission of EVNNPT is to ensure safe, continuous and stable power transmission for the country's socio-economic development and people's lives. At the same time, ensure the progress and quality of construction investment projects according to plan. Therefore, to complete this goal in the period of 2025-2026, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNNPT - Nguyen Tuan Tung requested all employees in the corporation to unite and strive to overcome difficulties and challenges, including continuing to implement synchronous solutions to improve production and business efficiency and increase labor productivity. Training, developing and improving the quality of human resources, especially high-quality human resources, to meet the development and modernization requirements of the corporation.
Ensuring material and spiritual life for employees, stabilizing jobs and improving workers' lives on the basis of improving efficiency and increasing labor productivity, focusing on workers' income at Project Management Boards.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union - Mr. Do Duc Hung highly appreciated the efforts of the leadership and employees of EVNNPT who have had very specific solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles to complete the production and business plan, investment and construction, ensuring electricity supply for the country's socio-economic development in recent times.
Mr. Do Duc Hung also assessed that the most significant mark to build the image of EVN is the mobilization of all employees in the whole corporation to implement and complete the 500kV line project, circuit 3, Quang Trach - Pho Noi. Thereby, strengthening the trust of the Party, Government, ministries, branches, localities and people in the Electricity industry.
