On the afternoon of April 14, Mr. Nguyen Huy Bang - Principal of Vinh University, said that 3 students who were hit by the falling railing were taken to Nghe An General Hospital for treatment. Currently, one student with minor injuries has been discharged from the hospital, the remaining two are waiting for X-ray results for evaluation.
Meanwhile, police are cordoning off, examining the scene and taking witness statements to investigate the incident.

According to the reporter's investigation, at around 9:30 a.m. on April 14, a group of students were playing on the 4th floor of Vinh University's Pedagogical Practice School. At this time, the students pushed each other near the railing, causing a section of stainless steel railing to fall down. This section of railing is nearly 2 meters long and nearly 1 meter high.
At the time of the incident, the schoolyard was in recess so there were many students. The railing fell on a group of 9th grade girls, injuring three of them. One of the girls was bleeding profusely and lay unconscious. Immediately after the incident, teachers at the school took the students to the hospital for emergency treatment.

"At that time, on the 4th floor, a group of students were playing when suddenly the railing fell. One of them was probably leaning on the railing and almost fell. Luckily, someone pulled him back so he just barely managed to hang on," said a witness.
The cause of the incident is still being investigated by the police.
