National Day for National Security Protection 2025

At the festival, delegates reviewed the 80th anniversary of national construction and defense; reported on the situation and results of ensuring security and order and building the People's Movement to Protect National Security in the commune.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Party Committee, the government, departments, branches and mass organizations of the commune have focused on disseminating the purpose, meaning and importance of the "National Day for National Security Protection", creating a new change in the awareness of the Party Committee, the government at all levels and the people towards the work of ensuring national security and order. The commune police have proactively grasped the situation, not allowing themselves to be passive or to be surprised, not allowing hostile forces to take advantage of the situation to propagate arguments contrary to the Party's viewpoints, policies and guidelines and the State's laws and policies.

The Steering Committee for Crime Prevention and Social Evils Prevention and Building the Movement "All People Protect National Security" of the commune has disseminated and educated the law to more than 1,870 people. The commune police discovered, arrested and handled 18 cases and 18 drug-related criminals. The whole commune has 24 People's Security Teams, 24 Mediation Teams in 24 villages; 1 "Security Camera" model, 14 drug-free village models, 8 "family self-management models on national security and order". Social order and safety in the area are maintained stably.

Speaking at the festival, Colonel Le Anh Hung - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department affirmed that protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and building the People's Movement to Protect National Security and Order is the common cause of the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people. To further promote the work of building the People's Movement to Protect National Security and Order in the area, he requested that Party committees and authorities regularly pay attention to building a strong grassroots political system, taking care of people's lives; fully implementing policies and regimes, promptly resolving issues and public opinions of concern. The Fatherland Front and mass organizations proactively promote their roles, functions and tasks in social supervision and criticism activities; listen to people's instructions to supervise cadres and Party members in residential areas in accordance with regulations.

For the Commune Police and the forces participating in protecting national security and order at the grassroots level, continue to do a good job of advising the Party Committee and the government to innovate the content and measures to build the Movement for the Whole People to Protect National Security and Order, ensuring national security and order must be for the benefit of the people, by the people and for the people. For the people, continue to promote the spirit, enthusiastically participate in local activities, build a strong great solidarity bloc, not allowing hostile forces to take advantage, entice and incite to cause loss of national security and order in the area.

At the festival, the Provincial Police awarded certificates of merit to 1 family and 1 individual; Muong Than Commune People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 24 individuals with outstanding achievements in building the movement "All people protect national security". Launched the movement "All people compete to protect national security"; approved and signed the emulation covenant.
