Happy day of 8 couples in mass wedding

At the mass wedding, there were 8 couples, each couple was supported with wedding rings, photography, filming, wedding dress, makeup, banquet table, cake...

In the morning of the same day, the couples were picked up by an electric car at the Can Tho City Labor Federation, passing through the city's central streets, to the Uncle Ho statue (Ninh Kieu wharf) for the incense offering ceremony. After that, the wedding ceremony took place at the Ninh Kieu Reverside Wedding and Convention Center.

At the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom perform all the rituals such as cutting the wedding cake, pouring wine, exchanging rings, drinking wine and receiving gifts from the union and relatives.

Representing the 8 couples participating in the mass wedding, the couple, both workers at Can Tho General Printing Joint Stock Company, spoke emotionally:

"In response to the sincerity and good feelings of the leaders, agencies, family and friends, we promise to always love each other and share joys and sorrows together; together we will build a happy family.

Always strive in production to become excellent union members, good workers to have a better life, contribute to building units, businesses, and building Can Tho City to develop more and more...".

On behalf of the organizing unit, Mr. Doan Van Dung - Vice President of Can Tho City Labor Federation - expressed that the group wedding is one of the activities to care for and support union members and workers in difficult circumstances who cannot hold their own weddings according to the traditional customs and practices of the nation. Helping them build a warm family, save money, stabilize their lives, and feel secure in working and producing.
