On the morning of October 31, Mr. Tran Van Luyen (Cu Ebur Commune, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province) discovered that about 600kg of fresh coffee had been stolen by thieves. Cu Ebur Commune Police are actively searching for the culprits in the context of high coffee prices, making theft more complicated.
On the same day, a leader of Cu Ebur Commune Police said that the unit was coordinating with Buon Ma Thuot City Police (Dak Lak Province) to verify the report of a local resident reporting that a thief had broken into and stolen hundreds of kilograms of fresh coffee in the area.
The fence of Mr. Tran Van Luyen's house, a coffee farmer in Cu Ebur commune, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province, was cut by a thief to break into the house and steal many bags of coffee.
According to the report of Mr. Tran Van Luyen, residing in village 3, Cu Ebur commune, Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak province), this morning, when his family woke up, they discovered that many bags of fresh coffee left in the corner of the yard had been taken away.
When checking, he found the main gate was still locked, however the B40 fence on the side had been cut.
After checking his family's security camera, Mr. Luyen discovered that two people on a motorbike had cut through the B40 net and broken into the yard to steal his coffee.
"These two thieves came back many times to steal coffee. My family lost about 600kg of fresh coffee. I have reported to the police to find the thieves," said Mr. Luyen.
