The project is invested by the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC), constructing a new 110kV transformer with a capacity of 2x63 MVA, 0.03 km of 110kV line and 5 22kV medium voltage feeders with a length of more than 5.2 km. The project has a total investment of more than 100 billion VND, expected to be completed and energized in the third quarter of 2026.

Mr. Trinh Trung Phuong - Member of EVNCPC Board of Directors emphasized: “This is a key project among 250 projects nationwide to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day and towards the 50th anniversary of EVNCPC's establishment (October 7, 1975 - October 7, 2025). EVNCPC is committed to focusing all resources, directing construction units to ensure progress, quality, safety, and put the project into operation on schedule".
Vice Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of EVNCPC, departments and local authorities in removing difficulties and completing procedures so that the project could be implemented. He affirmed that this is a project of strategic significance for the development of the region.
The project not only ensures energy infrastructure for industry and services, attracts investment in Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park and surrounding areas, but also promotes regional connectivity, exploits potential after administrative unit merger; demonstrates the commitment of the electricity industry in "putting electricity one step ahead" to ensure energy security, serving sustainable development.
“When put into operation, the 110kV Truong Hai transformer station will contribute to improving the power supply capacity for production and business of enterprises, improving people's lives. At the same time, it will create more motivation to attract investment, promote socio -economic development in the Central region,” said Mr. Tran Chi Cuong.
On the same day, in Tay Hoa commune, Dak Lak province, EVNCPC held the inauguration ceremony of the 110kV Tuy Hoa 2 - Phu Hoa transmission line built on the territory of Phu Hoa 1 and Tay Hoa communes, Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Hoa town, Phu Hoa district; Hoa Phong commune, Phu Thu town of Tay Hoa district, former Phu Yen province).
The project started on December 10, 2022 with EVNCPC as the investor, NPMU was assigned to manage the project with 15 component packages. The new construction scale includes 1 110kV feeder bay at Tuy Hoa 2 110kV substation; 110kV connecting line is nearly 8.5km long; total investment is nearly 47 billion VND.
During the implementation process, the units encountered many difficulties, especially in terms of compensation - site clearance, weather, construction conditions... However, with the active coordination of local authorities and the support of people where the project passes, the relevant parties have worked together to resolve the problems to complete the project items.
