On the evening of August 13, U23 Australia "destroyed" Timor Leste with a score of 9-0, Myanmar held the Philippines to a 1-1 draw in the final match of Group B of the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship.

Before the final match, the situation in Group B was quite complicated when three teams, Myanmar, Australia and the Philippines, all had a chance to advance to the group stage.

Myanmar is the team with the most advantage with 6 points and only needs to draw with Philippines to secure the ticket to continue as the top team in the group. Meanwhile, Philippines and U23 Australia are at a disadvantage with only 3 points.

With superior strength, the "kangaroo country" team quickly scored the opening goal in the 2nd minute. McKenna had a perfect cross for Holly Furphy to easily head the ball.

Things became too easy for U23 Australia to score the second goal in the 12th minute. After a messy situation, Alana Jancevski easily tapped the ball into the empty net.

Timor Leste seemed helpless against the opponent's attacking errors. U23 Australia scored three more goals to end the first half with a score of 5-0.

In the second half, things remained the same. The Australian women's team continued to dominate the match and scored consecutive goals.

They easily scored 4 more times to end the match with a 9-0 victory.
