Flood water level on Trung River exceeds alarm level III by 20 cm

- According to information from Lang Son Hydrometeorological Station, the water level of Trung River is rising rapidly. The water level measured at Huu Lung Hydrological Station at 4:00 p.m. on August 21 was 1,920 cm, 20 cm higher than the alarm level III.

It is forecasted that in the next 6 - 12 hours, the flood on the Trung River will continue to rise above alert level III. In the next 12 - 24 hours, the flood on the Trung River will peak, then gradually decrease to alert level II.

High river floods have caused flooding in communes such as Huu Lien, Cai Kinh, Tuan Son... Currently, functional forces are urgently implementing solutions to respond to floods, supporting people to move their assets to safe places to minimize damage to people and property.
