Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online on the evening of August 18, Mr. Luu Quoc Duy - owner of Duy lottery agency in Tra Vinh ward, Vinh Long province - confirmed that his agency had just exchanged 14 lottery tickets that won the special prize for a woman in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to Mr. Duy, the winning number is 081142 of Tra Vinh Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. drawn on August 15.
The woman shared that she was on a business trip in Dong Thap and bought many lottery tickets from a street vendor, unexpectedly winning the jackpot on all 14 tickets.
Because Mr. Duy's agent redeemed winning tickets without commission, this person called him to come from Vinh Long to Ho Chi Minh City to redeem the prize.
After deducting 10% tax, with the 14 winning tickets above, Mr. Duy's agent transferred 25.2 billion VND to the winner.
