Responding to this information, many readers expressed their excitement and hope that the park will soon be expanded and reconstructed, meeting the needs of common living space for the community, contributing to improving the quality of urban space, attracting investment and promoting the development of tourism and services in the locality...

Expand green space

Bien Hung Park currently has an area of about 4 hectares located in Tran Bien ward. This is the largest park in the center of Dong Nai province. According to the 1/500 scale urban master plan adjustment project recently approved by the authorities, Bien Hung Park will be expanded to nearly 9 hectares.

In particular, Bien Hung Park will have its architectural space reorganized to promote the value of the landscape, green park space, and water surface, creating a highlight space for the area to become a cultural, civilized and modern destination, with a complete and synchronous technical infrastructure system.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (Tran Bien Ward) said: Bien Hung Park is considered the "green lung" of the area. This is a place for recreation and activities for many people in Tran Bien Ward and neighboring wards. Every morning, she and her group of friends go to the park to exercise and relax. "In the past time, many items in the park have been invested and renovated such as: Bien Hung Lake, green tree system, entertainment area, playground, parking lot... However, these investments have not met the entertainment needs of the people. If this place continues to be invested and expanded, it will certainly attract more people to visit and have fun" - Ms. Thuy said.

Bien Hung Park is planned to become a concentrated green park area, creating a landscape space for the central urban area, meeting the needs of recreation, entertainment, and sports for people in the area. According to the approved planning project, Bien Hung Park will have main areas including: central square, historical and cultural relic area, outdoor stage area, sports area, youth entertainment area, quiet resting area, parking lot combined with commercial services, playground, walking path, trees, lake, etc.

Need to deploy soon

Upon hearing the news that Bien Hung Park would be expanded, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu (Tran Bien Ward) said: He was very happy, because the park is one of the important public activity places of many central wards of Dong Nai Province. However, the park currently lacks functional areas, so it has not been able to organize large-scale community activities.

“With a prime location adjacent to three major roads: 30-4, Hung Dao Vuong and Trinh Hoai Duc, when the new planning is implemented synchronously and systematically, Bien Hung Park promises to become a modern, multi-functional “green lung” meeting the needs of green living space, contributing to improving the quality of urban space, attracting investment and promoting the development of tourism and services in the locality” - Mr. Hieu expressed his hope.

The expansion and reconstruction of the park is also a concrete step in the strategy of developing green infrastructure, towards a more sustainable and livable urban model in Dong Nai. Responding to the information on expanding Bien Hung Park to nearly 9 hectares quoted on Facebook of Dong Nai Newspaper, many readers agreed with the expansion and re-planning of Bien Hung Park. "With a larger area, the park can integrate more playgrounds, sports areas, walking paths, gyms, picnic areas... creating a space for community activities and improving the quality of life" - Facebook account Kieu Thuy wrote.

In addition, many readers expressed their hope that the expansion of Bien Hung Park would be implemented soon. If the project is “planned and then… left there”, the implementation time will be prolonged, causing many difficulties and affecting the lives of people in the project area.
