Weather experts say that on the morning of August 9, the North will continue to have few clouds, with early sunshine and the heat will peak this afternoon. In the evening, there will only be localized thunderstorms in some places, but no widespread thunderstorms. The heat will last until the end of tomorrow, August 10. From the beginning of next week, the heat will gradually decrease.

In the Central region, this morning there was some cloud but it quickly dissipated, and the intense heat increased. This afternoon, thunderstorms only occurred in a few places near the Lao border, while the coastal areas were mostly rainless. Next week, the southwest monsoon will strengthen, bringing humid clouds across the Truong Son mountain range, causing scattered rain and ending the heat.

In the Central Highlands and the South, this morning the weather will be dry, but in the afternoon there will be scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.

Meteorological experts predict that from August 11, rain and wind will increase in both duration and amount in the South, with many places having rain from morning to evening. The amount of rain may be greater than it is now, as the southwest monsoon is forecast to be stronger. The rain range will expand from the Mekong Delta to Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa . There will be thunderstorms with strong winds in the West Sea.

While Vietnamese meteorological experts predict that from August 11, the southwest monsoon will strengthen, causing heavy rain in the South, according to the forecast of the ASEAN Climate Center (ASMC) and the ASEAN Regional Climate Forum (ASEANCOF), the southwest monsoon will operate at a normal level but rain will increase in the southern region of ASEAN in the second week of August, including the South of Vietnam.

Faced with very bad weather in the South, Vietnamese meteorological experts have advised people, especially those who raise seafood, cultivate crops or plan to travel to the sea in the South, to closely monitor forecasts and proactively respond to this heavy rain.
