In recent days, due to the impact of storm No. 03 (Wipha) and its circulation, Nghe An province has suffered an unprecedented flood, causing extremely serious damage to people and property. Many houses were swept away and collapsed; thousands of hectares of crops and aquaculture ponds were flooded and lost; many roads and bridges were severely damaged; many areas were deeply submerged in floodwaters, some localities were completely cut off and isolated.
