(DN) - On July 18, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Tran Thanh Hoa led a working delegation to visit and discuss with Venerable Thich Hue Khai, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the province and monks and nuns at the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the province (Tran Bien ward).

At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, Venerable Thich Hue Khai and the monks, nuns would continue to participate, propagate and mobilize followers to actively contribute to building the homeland, and well implement the policies of the Party and State.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, Venerable Thich Hue Khai said that monks, nuns and Buddhist followers in Dong Nai always follow the motto "Buddhism - Nation - Socialism", the spirit of "Buddhism accompanies the nation", so Dong Nai Buddhism has made efforts and made common contributions to the development of the province.

In particular, 2025 is the year when many important events take place in the country and is the first year of implementing the 2-level local government model. Accompanying the country's transformation, monks and nuns agree and propagate followers to comply with and believe in the policies of the Party and State. At the same time, Dong Nai Buddhism organizes activities to honor families of policy beneficiaries and commemorate heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the country...

Of the total population of 4.42 million in Dong Nai province, nearly 2.5 million are religious people, of which more than 1 million are Buddhists.
