On July 16, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee established an inspection team to ensure traffic order and safety in Bao Thang district. This is the first locality in the province that the provincial committee has conducted this inspection.

The inspection contents include: Leadership, direction and implementation of the Central and provincial directives in ensuring traffic order and safety; programs and plans of units and localities in implementing and implementing directives and resolutions of the Secretariat, the Government, the Prime Minister and specific programs and plans of the province; inspection, urging and guidance on the implementation of tasks of member agencies of the district and commune traffic safety committees; activities of members of the district and commune traffic safety committees; direction, inspection and urging of the district traffic safety committees towards the commune level; assessment of the participation and coordination of sectors, levels, mass organizations and the entire political system in the locality in performing the task of ensuring traffic order and safety.

The inspection program aims to strengthen the leadership role of Party committees at all levels in ensuring traffic order and safety; improve the effectiveness of direction, management and implementation of tasks to ensure traffic order and safety in the province to control and gradually reduce traffic accidents.

In addition, it is necessary to evaluate the role and responsibility of local and unit leaders in directing the implementation of the task of ensuring traffic order and safety according to the directives of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee; clarify the shortcomings, difficulties, and causes of increased traffic accidents (especially particularly serious traffic accidents) to make recommendations to relevant agencies and localities for timely correction and handling; and discover good models and good practices for replication.

It is expected that from now until the end of July, the Working Group will inspect the districts of Van Ban, Bao Yen, Muong Khuong and Sa Pa town. At the same time, the Group will conduct surprise inspections of units and localities under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee or when complicated security situations arise.
