This morning, January 9, the Emulation Bloc of socio-political and socio-professional organizations of the province, headed by the Representative Board of the Provincial Association of the Elderly, held a conference to summarize the emulation and reward work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

The Emulation Bloc of socio-political and socio-professional organizations of the province includes 16 participating associations and units. In 2023, the association agencies will perform their functions and tasks well, promote democracy, concentrate intelligence, strengthen solidarity, and successfully complete assigned political tasks.

The emulation movement to carry out the tasks of associations and units in the bloc continues to achieve quite comprehensive results.

Effectively carry out propaganda work on Party resolutions and State laws associated with functions and tasks, promote professional strengths, and effectively deploy activities in the fields of economics, science and technology, culture, health, and education.

Association agencies in the bloc pay attention to strengthening the association organization and developing members; focus on building a full-term work program, promulgating regulations on organizing the activities of the association's executive committee and standing committee.

Focus on launching and organizing emulation movements, promoting work initiatives and anniversaries, important events of the homeland, bringing positive results. Activities of hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and community development are focused on by functional associations, bringing positive results.

Regarding the key tasks in 2024, associations and units determined to strengthen propaganda and mobilization work for members and people to raise awareness, responsibility, strictly comply with the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State, the province's directive documents on association work and association charter. Develop and effectively implement specific work plans and programs associated with the province's socio-economic development tasks in 2024, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of Party Congresses at all levels.

Promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with implementing Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (12th tenure) on Party building and rectification work and patriotic emulation movements among all levels of the association and its members, making achievements to celebrate major political events and holidays of the homeland in 2024.

Continue to coordinate and effectively implement activities and movements in the fields of economy, culture, society, science and technology, health, education, law, sports, charity work, contributing to consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, developing the socio-economy, ensuring national defense and security of the province, building a clean and strong Party and government.

On this occasion, the conference unanimously proposed that the Provincial People's Committee award the 2023 Emulation Flag to the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers, the Association of People with Disabilities, Agent Orange Victims and Children's Rights Protection, and the Provincial Lawyers Association; the Prime Minister awarded the 2023 Emulation Flag to the Association of People with Disabilities, Agent Orange Victims and Children's Rights Protection.
