Start the journey to create the future

The event was attended by more than 500 new students, the Party Committee – Board of Directors, School Council; teachers and more than 30 business leaders from the fields of Electricity, Electronics, Automation, Computer Engineering and Refrigeration. The event not only marked the beginning of the learning and growing journey of the first-year students, but also clearly demonstrated the strong commitment of the Faculty of Electricity and Electronics in particular and the school in general in accompanying students, businesses and society.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Khanh - Party Secretary, Principal of Hanoi College of Technology sent warm congratulations to all new students of K16 (Faculty of Electricity - Electronics), and shared great expectations for the future generation of practical engineers.

He emphasized: “Each student entering the door of Hanoi College of Technology not only brings with them their own career dreams, but also the trust of their family and the expectations of society. New students from difficult circumstances who achieve high scores in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam receive scholarships to encourage their studies.

Within the framework of the program, 43 learning encouragement awards were given to new students with difficult circumstances who have made great efforts in their studies and those who have achieved excellent results with a score of 23 points or higher in the 2025 National High School Exam. This is a worthy recognition for their tireless efforts throughout the past journey and a strong motivation for them to continue to strive in the journey ahead.

In particular, participating businesses not only came to share career opportunities, but also brought practical contributions to the student life. At the program, 05 key clubs of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics received direct sponsorship from businesses; including: Scientific Research Club, Job - Start-up Club, Sports Club, Student Volunteer Club and Arts Club.

This sponsorship not only helps enrich student activities but also contributes to the comprehensive development of professional skills, soft skills and community spirit - key factors in forming a modern, professional and responsible worker.

Representing the new students speaking at the program, Vuong Duy Huy - a student majoring in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering expressed his emotion and determination when entering a new learning environment.

Representative of new students K16, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, expressed his feelings.

“Standing here today, I feel extremely honored and grateful. As one of the new students of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, I am even more confident that choosing to study at Hanoi College of Technology is a correct and wise decision.

Not only do we get to study in a modern environment with dedicated teachers and a practical training program, we also have the opportunity to approach businesses very early - something that not every school can provide. I believe that HHT is the starting point for our journey to maturity and a solid launch pad to reach the future."

As part of a series of events welcoming new students of K16, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, Hanoi College of Technology, will organize a workshop and professional training:
- August 13, 2025: Specialized workshop and career orientation in Electricity, Electronics, Automation.
- August 14, 2025: Professional seminar and career orientation in the Air Conditioning industry.
- August 9, 16 and 23, 2025: Training in air conditioning maintenance skills.
