Accordingly, the working group conducted a survey of the planned belt roads from Prenn to Xuan Tho, Mimosa Pass and National Highway 20 through Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat to assess the current situation, find solutions to remove obstacles, propose investment in important traffic projects, contributing to the socio -economic development of the province.
After surveying and understanding the actual situation on all routes, for the project to build a bypass from the foot of Prenn Pass to Xuan Tho, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 to carefully review 3 design options, comprehensively evaluate the techniques, planning, costs and efficiency.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated Option 2A as proposed by the Board. The project has a route length of 10.2km (including a 600m spiral bridge), the starting point of the route connects the Lien Khuong - Prenn expressway intersection and the end point intersects with National Highway 20.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also directed relevant units to carefully review the planning, closely coordinate to find the best plan, have the most optimal technical solution to ensure the feasibility and effectiveness of the project. At the same time, carefully calculate the impacts on forest land, add green solutions, anti-landslide and long-term considerations to the design.

Regarding the project to renovate the section through Mimosa Pass and some works on National Highway 20, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested relevant units to speed up construction progress and ensure project quality.

The project to renovate the section through Mimosa Pass and some works on National Highway 20 has a total investment of 441.09 billion VND, implementation period from 2023 - 2025, with a length of about 10.4 km and renovation of 11 bridges on National Highway 20. Currently, Dai Nga bridge is still facing problems with site clearance.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Construction to coordinate with localities to focus on site clearance and mobilize people to agree to hand over land. At the same time, proactively contact the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Land Fund Development Center to carry out compensation and tree relocation procedures.

At the working session at the People's Committee of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat, the leaders of the People's Committee also proposed to invest in expanding National Highway 20 through the center of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat and proposed to allocate capital for the project of building sidewalks, lighting for trees on National Highway 20 through the center of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat and the central area of Cau Dat, Tram Hanh.

The route proposed by the Ward People's Committee to expand and upgrade is the central area of the ward, with a large population and many famous tourist attractions such as Linh Phuoc Pagoda, Trai Mat Station... Traffic density through the route is high, especially during rush hour and holidays.

After listening to the proposed report and a field survey, comrade Nguyen Hong Hai emphasized: National Highway 20 through the province is still very limited in scale, the infrastructure is not synchronized. During the survey this afternoon, there was heavy rain, some sections of water could not drain in time, causing deep flooding, the water above poured down the negative slope like a waterfall, very dangerous, posing a risk of landslides and greatly affecting people's lives and traffic safety.
This route needs a lot of attention and investment. If the investment to expand National Highway 20, especially the section through Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat, will contribute to urban beautification, reduce traffic congestion, improve the drainage system, increase urban connectivity and create development momentum, promote investment in this area.
“Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat is also a central area of Da Lat of thousands of flowers, but through this survey we can see that there is still nothing here: No lights, no trees, very poor drainage, very regrettable!”
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai
On that basis, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed Project Management Board 1 and the Department of Construction to conduct research, survey, calculate appropriate scale, find highly feasible and reasonable options in the current period... to propose to the Department of Finance to balance capital and arrange investment capital in the coming time.
