- Handing over houses to former members of the People's Police
The houses were built with support from the provincial “For the Poor” Fund and the support of the Southern Power Corporation, with a total cost of 300 million VND. Each house costs 60 million VND, ensuring the “3 hard” criteria (solid foundation, frame, and roof). After the construction period, 5 completed, spacious, and clean houses were given to the following households: Luu Bich Linh (Lang Giai A hamlet), Ly Bel (Chua Phat hamlet), Nguyen Thi Nguyet (Thi Tran B hamlet), Danh Song (Thi Tran A hamlet) and Thach Thi Xuan Huong (Thi Tran B1 hamlet).
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, informed about the results of building "Great Unity" houses in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, said that the “Great Unity” housing support program in the past was mainly for poor households, policy families and ethnic minority households; up to now, these groups have basically had standard houses. However, the whole province still has nearly 6 thousand households that are not poor but have housing difficulties. In the coming time, the province will focus on supporting this group of people, and at the same time call on organizations and individuals inside and outside the province to continue to join hands in social security, helping many families have stable homes. He highly appreciated the support of the electricity industry and hoped that the industry would continue to support difficult circumstances.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province (fourth from right) and Mr. Tran Huu Khoa, Deputy Director of Ca Mau Electricity Company (third from left) presented housewarming gifts to households.
“We commit that all support resources will be strictly managed, used for the right purposes, transparently, without loss or waste, thereby maximizing efficiency, spreading the spirit of solidarity and affection in the community,” the Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee emphasized.
Mr. Duong Van Duy, Vice Chairman of Hoa Binh Commune People's Committee and Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Binh Commune presented housewarming gifts to 5 households.
Representatives of the units attached a sign to hand over the "Great Solidarity" house to Ly Bel household (Chua Phat hamlet).
Representing the supported households, Mr. Ly Bel emotionally expressed: “A new house is my family’s dream for many years. Thanks to the attention of the government, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the support of the Southern Power Corporation , we now have a solid and safe place to live so we can work and take care of our children with peace of mind.”
Handing over 5 "Great Unity" houses under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 in the province to households in special circumstances.
Handing over the "Great Unity" houses not only provides material support but also motivates people to rise up, while demonstrating the connection between the government, businesses and the community in social security.
