On August 13, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province said that it had sent a document to the People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones and affiliated units regarding the adjustment of school uniforms for the 2025-2026 school year. The adjustment document was issued after the People's Committees of some communes and wards sent official dispatches requesting that the uniform regulations not be implemented because many parents had purchased uniforms for their children or reused uniforms from the previous school year.
Previously, on August 11, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province issued an official dispatch requesting public educational institutions in the area to implement a unified traditional school uniform with ink blue pants or skirts and white shirts. Schools are not allowed to implement separate uniforms for each school, without accessories such as ties, sleeve edges, collars, and shoulder straps of different colors.

However, this regulation has caused confusion for many parents because they have already prepared uniforms for their children. Therefore, the Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training has adjusted, allowing those who have purchased uniforms or have old uniforms to continue using them in the 2025-2026 school year.
On the afternoon of August 13, speaking with Thanh Nien , Mr. Vo Hoan Hai, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province, also confirmed the above information. Mr. Hai said that in cases where the old uniforms were used in schools, students would continue to use them in the 2025-2026 school year. The uniformization of uniforms will be implemented in the 2026-2027 school year to ensure uniformity throughout the province.

In addition to the uniform regulations, the Department also emphasized that schools are not allowed to organize services to sew or sell student clothes in any form. Educational institutions are not allowed to organize the sale of textbooks, notebooks, and learning tools in schools, but only notify and guide parents to purchase them themselves.
At the same time, it is forbidden to take advantage of the name of the Parents' Representative Board to collect fees other than those specified in Circular No. 55/2011/TT-BGDDT. All revenues, expenditures, and financial-related activities in educational institutions must comply with regulations.
