Discover Phinh Ho, the green gem at the northeastern tip

VOV.VN - Phinh Ho in Bac Son commune, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province is like a green gem that nature has bestowed on the northeastern tip of the country. The large freshwater lake is an ideal destination for anyone who loves to explore.
Phinh Ho Lake (or Phenh Ho) is a freshwater lake of more than 570 hectares located close to the border in Bac Son commune, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh.
Phinh Ho is about 15 km from Mong Cai city center following provincial road 341 (National Highway 18C) towards Bac Phong Sinh border gate economic zone (Hai Ha district).
This is also a beautiful border belt road for those who love to explore.
The large freshwater lake Phinh Ho is located close to the border with wild, majestic scenery, clear blue water, fresh air and cool weather all year round.
The lake surface is divided by many islands and large and small mountain ranges. Perhaps this is the unique beauty of Phinh Ho.
Stretching across the lake are green islands.
The islands with diverse shapes and lush vegetation create a rare, wild and poetic landscape.
On windless days, the lake surface is clear and calm like a giant mirror reflecting the mountains, clouds and sky.
Currently, Phinh Ho has not exploited tourism but the beauty of this place has attracted the attention of locals as well as tourists.
Thanks to its pristine landscape, Phinh Ho has its own beauty in every season. The most special time is at the end of the day when the sun sets on the lake, the land and sky seem to be bathed in the sunset, creating a poetic scene that few places have.
Perhaps, because it has not been exploited for tourism, Phinh Ho still retains its pristine features and fresh air.
Along with the vast sea and sky, majestic mountains and forests, Phinh Ho is like a shining gem that has not been polished yet, with its intact wild natural beauty adding to the natural picture of the northeastern land.
