He emphasized: The Great Victory in Spring 1975 was a victory of the mettle, strength and intelligence of Vietnam, a victory of the Vietnamese people's war. The Great Victory in Spring completely defeated the war of aggression and neo-colonial domination of the US imperialists in the South, completely liberating the South. During that resistance war, tens of thousands of Quang Ninh youths joined the army to support the battlefields, fought steadfastly and made outstanding achievements. Many outstanding sons of the Mining Region reached the last day of the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, liberating the South and reunifying the country.

The Provincial Party Secretary also congratulated the achievements that Ho Chi Minh City has achieved after 50 years of liberation, affirming its position as a major economic center of the country, contributing to the overall development of the country. At the same time, he affirmed that Quang Ninh, as a leading locality in innovation in the Northern Delta region, a comprehensive growth pole of the Northern region, always supports Ho Chi Minh City in carrying out its tasks, especially in socio-economic development, creating a solid foundation with the whole country to enter a new era - the era of national development.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, thanked the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh province for their good feelings towards Ho Chi Minh City. In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City aims to achieve a growth rate of 10% or more. To achieve this goal, the City is focusing on leading and directing the implementation of socio-economic development tasks; promoting the development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; and resolutely and resolutely focusing on restructuring the apparatus according to the direction of the Central Government.
