Nguyen Tuan Anh and Le Chuc An crowned champions of the 2025 National Golf Championship

Before the Final, Nguyen Tuan Anh and Le Chuc An were both holding the top spot in their respective groups. And after the final 18 intense holes, both successfully maintained their advantage to step onto the podium and win the highest title. This is the first championship title in Tuan Anh's career on the VGA Tour system. Meanwhile, with this championship, Chuc An made history by becoming the first female golfer to win the championship for 3 consecutive years.

In round 4 - the decisive round, Nguyen Tuan Anh and Truong Chi Quan created a breathtaking chase in the Men's group.

Despite starting with the advantage, Tuan Anh was soon surpassed by Chi Quan, when the golfer born in 1998 scored a series of birdie-birdie-eagle points from holes 3 to 5, then continued to explode with a series of 3 consecutive birdies from holes 11 to 13, widening the gap to 2 strokes.

However, the turning point came at the par-5 17th hole. Here, Tuan Anh had an accurate birdie putt, while Chi Quan made a bogey. The balance was established when both had the same score (-3) when entering the final hole. With a par at hole 18, both were forced to enter a play-off match for the championship.

Returning to the par-4 18th hole, Tuan Anh kept his composure to score par, while Chi Quan missed the target on his drive and chipped short afterwards, leading to a bogey.

The final victory was won by golfer Nguyen Tuan Anh, and this was the first VGA Tour championship in his career, and at the same time, it closed a brilliant 2025 with a series of titles: Vietnam Junior Open, Faldo Series Asia Grand Final, and the National Golf Championship.

The next positions in the Men's table belong to Do Duong Gia Minh (3rd place), Nguyen Trong Hoang (4th place) and Nguyen Van Quang (5th place).

While the Men's Group was tense in every hole, in the Women's Group, Le Chuc An showed absolute dominance. After 2 cautious opening days, the golfer born in 2007 made a turning point in round 3 with 69 strokes (-3), taking the lead and leaving the chasing group 7 strokes behind.

Entering the final round, Chuc An played confidently with birdies on holes 1, 3, 7, 10 and especially an excellent eagle on the par-5 hole 5. Finishing round 4 with 68 strokes (-4), Chuc An achieved a total score of -2 after 72 holes, officially defending the championship title. This is not only the third consecutive title, but also a historic hat-trick for Vietnamese women's golf, when for the first time an athlete has held the National Cup for 3 consecutive years.

The runner-up position belonged to golfer Nguyen Viet Gia Han, who stood out with a final round of 70 strokes (-2), and Anna Le won third place overall.

Thus, the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 has successfully concluded after 4 days of dramatic competition with high professional quality. Entering the fourth year of joining the VGA Tour system, the tournament not only affirms its position as a top playground for professional athletes, but also becomes an important launching pad for the development of the young generation of athletes, contributing to raising the level of Vietnamese Golf on the international map.
