Cau Giay Ward: Determined to become a bright spot of the Capital in the digital learning movement

This is a practical activity of cadres, party members and people of Cau Giay ward to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The event is of important significance to promote glorious historical traditions, arouse patriotism, create a vibrant and united competitive atmosphere, associated with promoting the implementation of digital citizenship, digital society, successfully implementing political tasks, and socio-economic development in the area.

At the launching ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Cau Giay Ward People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha said that the "Digital Popular Education" movement is a continuation of the spirit of "Digital Popular Education" in 1945 - but in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution. The goal of the movement is to help local people become digital citizens with the ability to access, use and master technology.

The "Digital Education for All" movement of Cau Giay ward focuses on 4 key target groups:

Firstly, popularize basic digital skills for people, regardless of age, occupation or level, to know how to use smart devices; know how to look up information, submit online applications, access public services; install and use applications such as VNeID, etax Mobile, iHanoi; at the same time, raise awareness of protecting personal information in cyberspace.

For effective implementation, the ward organizes practical training classes at "Mobile Digital Literacy Points" at cultural houses, residential group meeting houses, and community activity houses. The training sessions are directly supported by professional staff from the ward's departments and offices in coordination with the Youth Union, Ward Police, Tax Department 5 - Hanoi City, Viettel Cau Giay and members of the Community Digital Transformation Team in residential groups.

Second, develop skills in using open online learning platforms. 100% of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the area are required to access and study on the binhdanhocvuso.gov.vn platform, according to the digital skills standards issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology . Each household is oriented to become a "digital learning address", each association and organization is a "digital classroom" connecting the community.

Third, improve digital capacity for students and schools.

Fourth, spread "lifelong digital learning culture" throughout society.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, the program is the beginning of a long-term, sustainable, practical and widespread action movement. The Cau Giay Ward government sets a new goal, not only managing by documents, but also operating by technology; all people constantly learn, apply technology, and spread the spirit of digital learning to everyone around.

To realize the goal of becoming a bright spot in the capital in the digital learning movement, Cau Giay ward has promoted the integration of this content into the activities of party cells, unions, schools, and agencies; diversifying propaganda forms suitable for each target group. In particular, launching the movement "Each party member has a digital transformation initiative" to spread the spirit of learning and innovation.

100% of cadres, civil servants, and teachers are exemplary in learning and sharing digital knowledge, each person playing the role of a "community lecturer". 100% of schools actively implement this, considering it an opportunity to innovate teaching methods and encourage students to master technology. 100% of residential groups and community digital transformation groups implement the motto of "going to every alley, knocking on every door", mobilizing the participation of local technology businesses in supporting equipment, platforms, communications, and sharing knowledge with people.

With the Youth Union of the ward, the spirit of vanguard is strongly promoted through activities to popularize digital skills for the community: building digital bookcases, digital libraries, supporting people to use public services at the Cau Giay Ward Public Administration Service Point...

The "Digital Education for All" movement in Cau Giay ward is opening a new direction for comprehensive digital transformation, with the synchronous participation of the entire political system and the entire population - creating the foundation for sustainable development in the digital age.
