Intel Expands AI PC Accelerator Program

Intel Corporation has launched two new artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives under its PC AI Accelerator Program: the PC AI Developer Program and the addition of independent hardware vendors to the program.

The program focuses on supporting software developers and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to provide them with a seamless experience and make it easier for them to adopt new AI technologies at scale.

In addition, the program provides early access to tools and workflows, AI implementation frameworks, and developer kits, including hardware from Intel featuring Intel Core Ultra processors.

These innovative resources provide developers with a one-stop shop for access to AI PC and mainstream PC toolkits, documentation, and training. The collection of resources is designed to help developers take full advantage of Intel Core Ultra processor technologies to unleash the power of AI and machine learning (ML) applications, while also accelerating the development of new use cases.

This is an important milestone for Intel in its mission to support the hardware and software ecosystem to optimize and maximize AI power on more than 100 million AI PCs equipped with Intel processors from now until 2025.

Additionally, the addition of Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs) to the AI ​​PC Accelerator Program provides IHVs with the opportunity to prepare, optimize, and tune their hardware to support AI PCs. Qualified partners will have access to Intel’s Open Labs for technical support and co-design of hardware solutions and platforms early in development. Through the program, Intel also provides reference hardware so that qualified IHV partners can test and optimize their technologies to ensure they perform at their best when they come to market.
