(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of August 20, the Department of Industry and Trade of Thanh Hoa coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology and related units to organize a conference to train, guide and answer difficulties and problems for communes and wards in the field of industry and trade. The conference was connected online from the Department of Science and Technology to 166 points in communes and wards across the province.

Overview of the training conference.

According to Decree No. 139/2025/ND-CP of the Government , out of a total of 39 tasks in the field of industry and trade, the People's Committee at the commune level is assigned to perform 32 tasks and 22 administrative procedures related to many fields such as: local industry, industrial clusters, domestic goods circulation, gas trading, food safety, consumer rights protection, dam safety of hydroelectric reservoirs, electricity, market infrastructure...

The conference was connected online to 166 communes and wards.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Department of Industry and Trade Tran Duc Luong said: The amount of work newly assigned to the commune level is very large, while most of the civil servants assigned to be in charge of the industry and trade sector at the grassroots level do not have much professional experience. Therefore, the training conference will provide necessary knowledge and skills, and at the same time answer the difficulties and problems that grassroots officials are facing in the process of handling administrative procedures, contributing to ensuring the smoothness, effectiveness and efficiency in performing tasks.

Representatives of the Industrial Management Department, Thanh Hoa Department of Industry and Trade conveyed content related to the industrial cluster sector; voting for rural industrial products.

At the conference, the reporters, who were leaders and experts from the specialized departments of the Department of Industry and Trade and the Market Management Department, presented and provided detailed instructions on the new regulations, and suggested ways to handle situations arising in practice related to 4 main content groups: Trade; industry; energy; market management.

Training content in the industrial sector: Development and management of industrial clusters; Selection of typical rural industrial products; Evaluation and recognition of artisans in the field of handicrafts; Food safety management in industrial production; Wine production activities.

Training content in the field of commerce: On market infrastructure assets invested and managed by the state; Protection of consumer rights; Food safety in business; Alcohol business; Gas business and other related content.

Training content in the energy sector: Answering and resolving problems related to power supply. Handing over and receiving electrical works; Protecting the safety corridor of the power grid.

Training content in the field of Market Management: Guidance on the establishment and organization of activities of the Steering Committee against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in communes and wards in the province.

Delegates at the commune and ward bridge points directly discussed with the reporter, reflecting specific problems for discussion and resolution. Through the conference, the difficulties and shortcomings in the implementation process were also summarized by the Industry and Trade sector to propose to competent authorities for consideration and adjustment.
