(BGDT) - On the morning of June 11, at Son Dong High School No. 2 (Son Dong), the Provincial Youth Union organized the program "Exciting Summer Day" with the participation of more than 500 cadres, union members, and children.

With the wish that children in the district have a healthy and meaningful summer, on this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented: 30 gifts to excellent students in Cam Dan commune; construction costs for the "Entertainment site for children" project at the Cultural House of Tan Chung village, Dai Son commune; 1 water filter for the family of Be Anh Tuyet in Goc Gao village, Cam Dan commune, a poor household of ethnic minorities; sports competition uniforms for some youth soccer teams.

The Organizing Committee gives gifts to students who overcome difficulties to study well.

The total value of the above gifts is about 40 million VND, sponsored by the Provincial Youth Union and Provincial Youth Union Council, Hoang Phong Sports Production and Trading Company Limited - Wika Sports Brand, FPT Schools Bac Giang, AHC Arts Company Limited, ABC International English Center, Hoa Mi Art Center.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the final match of the Son Dong District Highland Youth Football Tournament and the Folk Games Festival took place.

The program is a healthy playground, bringing children a fun and rewarding summer day. Through that, it encourages them to have more motivation and strive harder in studying and practicing.

Children nationwide perform more than 36.2 million good deeds
