On the morning of April 30, at the construction site of the road from Provincial Road 398B, Lien Chung Commune (Tan Yen) to Bac Giang City, 35 workers, divided into 3 construction teams, were focusing on spreading crushed stone on the road surface. Dozens of trucks carrying materials and road rollers were operating continuously.

The contractor is constructing the road from provincial road 398B, Lien Chung commune section (Tan Yen) to Bac Giang city.

This route will start construction at the end of 2023, with a total length of more than 6.2 km, including the main route, branch routes and intersections. This is a key traffic project of Tan Yen district, with a total investment of 250 billion VND from the district budget. The construction units include the following contractors: Truong Hanh Joint Stock Company, Bach Long Joint Stock Company, and 379 Investment Joint Stock Company (headquartered in Bac Giang city).

According to the design, the starting point of the route is the intersection between the V belt road and the road connecting National Highway 37 - National Highway 17 - Provincial Road 292 (Tan Yen); the end point intersects with Phu Khe road at Km 1 + 115, in Que Nham commune (Tan Yen), bordering Bac Giang city. The roadbed is 16-20 m wide, the road surface is 12 m wide, made of asphalt concrete on crushed stone aggregate. The route also has 4 intersections, longitudinal drainage system, cross drainage system, traffic safety signs.

Mr. Pham Xuan Truong, Deputy Director of Truong Hanh Joint Stock Company, said that on this occasion, contractors focused on speeding up construction progress, even on holidays. Up to now, the project has completed 70% of the work volume. Workers and engineers working on holidays are paid higher income than normal days.

The project is expected to be completed and put into use at the end of June this year to connect traffic between Tan Yen district and Bac Giang city, helping people travel conveniently and promoting socio-economic development in the area.

Similarly, at the emergency construction project of Ta Cang bridge (replacing the old Ta Cang underground) on provincial road 248 in Phong Minh commune (Luc Ngan), there are currently nearly 20 engineers and workers focusing on completing the remaining items such as: Asphalt concrete paving, construction of longitudinal drainage culverts.

Ta Cang Bridge is over 56 m long, the bridge deck is 9 m wide, built with reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete. The total length of the approach roads on both sides of the bridge is 300 m. The total investment cost is 20 billion VND from the state budget.

The bridge was built to overcome the traffic disruption during the rainy season, meet people's travel needs, and promote socio-economic development in the area.

According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Bach, Head of Traffic Construction Supervision Management Department 2 (Provincial Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board), up to now, the project has completed 85% of the work volume and is expected to be put into use before June 30 this year.
