In his opening speech at the workshop, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, emphasized that building the Party in terms of ethics and building revolutionary ethics for cadres and party members is a very important issue, one of the 10 tasks of Party building and rectification work and one of the core contents of Ho Chi Minh's thought. From there, we can clearly see the role, position, significance and importance of building, training and fostering revolutionary ethical standards, improving political mettle, capacity, qualities, sense of responsibility, and completing well the tasks of cadres and soldiers in the People's Public Security Forces in the new period - a period in which the rapid development of science and technology, especially the rapid and complex developments in cyberspace, along with the multi-dimensional impact of the market economy, pose many challenges to maintaining ethical qualities in the People's Public Security Forces. Among them, some issues such as taking advantage of positions for personal gain, distancing from the people, violating discipline and order need to be prevented promptly. The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission also raised some directional contents for delegates, researchers, and scientists to focus on discussing and clarifying the issues raised for ethical standards in the current Public Security Forces.

After the opening speech of the workshop by the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the delegates exchanged and discussed general theoretical issues on revolutionary ethics; revolutionary ethics in Ho Chi Minh's thought and the implementation of revolutionary ethics of cadres and party members; requirements and solutions to promote the implementation of revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members according to Ho Chi Minh's thought in the new period; building, training, fostering revolutionary ethics, building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern public security force to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation; the intersection of three value systems in building revolutionary ethics of the public security force according to Ho Chi Minh's thought; studying Ho Chi Minh's thought to build a culture of behavior "respecting the people, being close to the people, understanding the people, learning from the people and being responsible to the people" for current public security officers and soldiers; Identify and combat the tricks of distorting and defaming the revolutionary ethics of the People's Public Security Forces on cyberspace; the ethical standards of the forces in the People's Public Security Forces and set an example of implementing the revolutionary ethical standards of cadres, party members and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces in the new era of development...

In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Senior General Luong Tam Quang emphasized that through the workshop, awareness of the viewpoints, connotations, dialectical relationships, and meanings of revolutionary ethical standards of public security officers and soldiers in the new period had been raised, thereby widely disseminating and propagating to all officers, soldiers, and people about the implementation of tasks in the cause of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, promoting industrialization, modernization, and international integration. The Minister suggested that, from the results of the workshop, the Public Security of units and localities should study and build a public security culture, as a foundation to concretize revolutionary ethical standards in accordance with the nature, characteristics, functions, and tasks of each force system and unit. Linking the realization of revolutionary ethical standards with the task of building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern public security force that meets the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Each public security officer and soldier must constantly study, cultivate moral qualities, practice lifestyle, and actively contribute to building the revolutionary ethical standards of a public security soldier: "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", "The public security only knows that as long as the Party exists, we exist", "Honor is the most sacred and noble thing".
