National Scientific Conference "Theoretical and practical issues on building culture in the Party in the new period"

In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, and Head of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that in order to promote the work of building culture within the Party, contributing to building a truly clean and strong Party, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period, it is necessary to carry out many key tasks and solutions.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia mentioned the strict implementation of regulations on setting examples for cadres and Party members, especially leaders and heads at all levels in the political system. Proactively detect, combat, prevent and repel signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation", corruption, waste and negative behavior; at the same time, promote more effectively the role and responsibility of the subjects, especially the role and responsibility of Party committees and heads of Party committees at all levels in implementing cultural development in the Party.

Strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of cultural development in the Party, associated with evaluation, classification, reward, discipline, etc. of Party organizations and Party members, creating a fundamental shift in the self-awareness and responsibility of each Party organization and Party member in building and practicing cultural values ​​in the Party.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed: "Focus on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous, hostile, distorted, and defamatory views of the Party's good cultural values, resolutely and persistently attacking and defeating the "peaceful evolution" plots and tricks of hostile forces.
