


By the end of July 2025, the total outstanding policy credit balance in Cam Duong ward reached over 162.1 billion VND, accounting for 37.98% of the total outstanding balance of 4 communes and wards managed by the Cam Duong Social Policy Bank Transaction Office with over 2,300 poor households and other policy beneficiaries receiving loans. The average annual credit growth rate reached over 15%/year.
Policy credit capital has helped many households escape poverty sustainably, created jobs for thousands of local workers, and built over 594 clean water and rural environmental sanitation projects.
After the merger, the collection of interest and savings deposits was delegated to 68 savings and credit groups. Policy credit capital covered 119 residential groups, basically meeting the borrowing needs of the people. Households could borrow and repay debts right at the transaction points of communes and wards conveniently, minimizing travel costs when making loan transactions.

However, to ensure the quality of policy credit, it is necessary to conduct direct inspection and comparison at the borrowing households. Thereby, assessing the current status of policy credit quality managed by the VBSP in the area, thereby classifying and having appropriate debt handling measures.

At the conference, delegates were informed about knowledge related to debt reconciliation and classification of customers; scope of debt reconciliation and classification; roles and responsibilities of commune-level People's Committees, entrusted organizations and unions, management boards of savings and credit groups, responsibilities of borrowers in repaying debt, principal and interest to the Social Policy Bank and when detecting differences as well as applying digital technology in debt classification and handling.

The conference was held to evaluate, compare and classify debts according to the Prime Minister 's regulations on issuing debt classification regulations at the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies as a basis for proposing solutions to improve the quality of policy credit capital sources, and at the same time, raise awareness of using social policy loans of local people.
