The first conference to commend typical advanced models of Dong Dang commune

- On the afternoon of August 18, Dong Dang Commune People's Committee held the first conference to commend typical advanced models (2025 - 2030).

Dong Dang commune was established on the basis of merging 5 old commune-level administrative units including Dong Dang town and the communes of Thuy Hung, Phu Xa, Hong Phong, and Bao Lam of the old Cao Loc district.

Over the years, the Party Committee and the communal government have always paid attention to directing and launching patriotic emulation movements with diverse contents and forms. Through this, the combined strength of the political system and all classes of people has been promoted, creating a competitive motivation to exceed the goals set by the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels.

In the field of economic development, many emulation targets were achieved and exceeded. The economic growth rate was stable, industrial and handicraft production had developed; more than 78 billion VND was mobilized to build new rural areas.

There has been much progress in the cultural and social fields. Movements such as “All people unite to build a cultural life” associated with the campaign “All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas” have been widely deployed in the commune and achieved good results. In the past 5 years, the rate of cultural families reached 87.7%, 100% of villages have village covenants and conventions.

At the same time, the implementation of tasks in national defense, security, justice, foreign affairs, etc. also achieved positive results. The results of thematic emulation movements were deployed promptly and effectively.

Regarding the direction and tasks in the coming time, Party committees and authorities at all levels determined to continue promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with emulation movements; emulating to effectively carry out political tasks, socio-economic development, national defense and security; strengthening propaganda about the meaning and importance of emulation and reward work, praising advanced models to create widespread influence...

During the program, delegates participated in exchanges and shared with typical advanced collectives and individuals in the area about ways to develop the economy, build new rural areas, maintain security and order, protect the border... These practical stories have strongly inspired, aroused the spirit of creativity and dedication in the community, and at the same time contributed to replicating effective and practical models in the patriotic emulation movement in the area.

On this occasion, collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in building the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025 in Dong Dang commune.

In the program, the leaders of Dong Dang Commune People's Committee launched the emulation movement for the period 2025-2030.
