
This is an activity in a series of trade promotion events of the city to support businesses in promoting their brands, boosting exports, contributing to completing the target of 7% increase in export turnover and 8% increase in GRDP in 2025.
The program is organized with the aim of connecting domestic and foreign export enterprises, enterprises with distributors, with trade counselors and international trade promotion organizations; thereby contributing to promoting production - consumption linkages according to sustainable value chains, improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises.
The fair is also an opportunity to promote and honor businesses with Vietnamese export products, quality and prestigious brands to consumers.
With 120 booths, the fair attracted the participation of about 100 businesses, displaying products that meet standards of quality, origin, export orientation, exported products or products that meet high quality standards.
At the fair, a series of trade promotion activities associated with promoting the building of Vietnamese product brands were organized, attracting the attention of importers, distributors, supermarket systems, and retail chains in foreign markets.
Notably, many products displayed at the fair are in the group of key export products of Hanoi city such as: Agricultural products (rice, dried bananas, coffee, freeze-dried fruits, fruits, cashew nuts, etc.); food (sugar, fish sauce, packaged coffee, tea, frozen canned products, rice noodles, vermicelli, bird's nest, etc.); handicrafts (ceramics, high-class lacquerware, exported rattan and bamboo, horn products, leather products, bronze products, embroidery paintings, etc.); garment products, silk, exported hand-embroidered textile products, etc.); bricks, tiles, interior equipment, etc.
In addition to the exhibition activities, this year's fair organizes a common space to introduce typical export products, a direct - online trading area (livestream), and a business connection area.
Rich sideline activities, with a special art program to celebrate National Day September 2, promise to attract a large number of people and domestic and foreign business visitors.
Participating in this year's fair, businesses receive support from the city, such as a 50% reduction in booth costs, up to 15 million VND/business, and support for a maximum of 2 booths per locality, not exceeding 30 million VND/locality.
Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen The Hiep said that through the fair, the Department of Industry and Trade hopes to create a vibrant trading environment, effective cooperation, creating conditions for businesses to learn, improve and innovate technology, and enhance long-term competitiveness.
This is also an opportunity for businesses to promote Hanoi's branded products to domestic and international businesses, find partners, do business, etc., thereby promoting the export of goods, bringing goods to domestic and international distribution channels.
“The Vietnam Export Brand Fair 2025 is expected to be an effective connection between production and consumption, promoting domestic consumption, boosting export growth, contributing to the completion of the city's GRDP growth and export growth targets in 2025,” Deputy Director Nguyen The Hiep affirmed.
