On the afternoon of August 22, in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, the Army Academy held a review of 3 years of implementing the motto "The quality of the school's training is the combat readiness of the unit", according to Directive No. 917, dated December 4, 2020 of the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 15, dated December 1, 2020 of the Central Military Commission on leadership in the implementation of military and defense tasks and building the military Party in 2021; on December 4, 2020, the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army issued Directive No. 917 on military and defense work in 2021, identifying the motto "The quality of training of the school is the combat readiness of the unit".

According to the assessment, in 3 years of implementing the motto, the Army Academy has carried out educational and training tasks with increasingly high requirements, a large number of students, and many training subjects; training content and programs are regularly updated, supplemented, adjusted, and newly built.

The Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Army Academy have led and directed the work of thoroughly disseminating and raising awareness and responsibility of the forces and implementing them in accordance with the reality, conditions, functions and tasks of the Academy; at the same time, actively and proactively conducting surveys at units throughout the army; building new, updating, adjusting and supplementing training programs for trainees to meet output standards and be close to the practical combat training at the grassroots units.

At the same time, regularly do a good job of building and training to improve the quality of the teaching staff and educational management staff to meet the requirements of the task. During the training process, the viewpoint of linking theory with practice, school with unit has been well implemented; combining knowledge and thinking capacity training with practical capacity training; focusing on imparting combat experience, combat training and traditional education to learners. Research work, summarizing practices, compiling textbooks and documents serve well the task of education and training; affirming and maintaining the position, prestige and training quality of the Academy.

The Director of the Army Academy awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the motto "The quality of the school's training is the combat readiness of the unit".

From 2021 to present, the Army Academy has organized many rounds of lecturers and educational management officers to go on field trips and rotate at units throughout the army from squad to division, province, city and military region and corps levels; actively innovating training programs.

Developed 38 new training programs, adjusted 37 detailed programs of subjects; developed output standards for 24 training programs, including 21 output standards by position, 3 post-graduate output standards, approved by the Chief of the General Staff... Thereby, contributing to improving training quality, meeting the practical needs of units throughout the army.
