At the same time, Ho Chi Minh City Open University also announced its enrollment plan and expected tuition fees for 2025. Tuition fees for standard programs range from 24 to 28.5 million VND/year, with the highest tuition fees for majors in the technology and engineering groups, while the lowest tuition fees for social sciences and humanities groups.

For high-quality programs, the tuition fee is 46.5 million VND/year, while some majors such as Computer Science, Construction Engineering Technology, Management Information Systems, and Information Technology have tuition fees up to 49.5 million VND/year.

Similarly, the tuition fee for 2025 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics ranges from 1.1 to 1.3 million VND/credit, depending on the training major. On average, this tuition fee increases by more than 200,000 VND/credit compared to last year. According to the roadmap, the school will adjust the tuition fee each year but not more than 10%/year.

According to Decree 81 of the Government, tuition fees at public universities are determined according to a roadmap to ensure the cost of education and training services. The State regulates the tuition fee ceiling for each major and each academic year, and schools are not allowed to charge more than this level. For training programs that have been quality-accredited, universities have the right to decide on their own tuition fees.
