Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Van, Commander of the Mobile Police, Deputy Head of the Standing Subcommittee for Organizing Parades and Marches (Ministry of Public Security) said that since October 2024, the Ministry of Public Security has issued a plan and established a Subcommittee for Organizing Parades and Marches in the Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. After more than 4 months of preparation, up to now, the Public Security force has coordinated with the Army force, Ministries, departments, branches and localities to successfully organize the celebration.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Van commended and highly appreciated the efforts, endeavors and achievements of the officers, soldiers and students participating in this important event, especially the selection, training and coordination with relevant forces and units. He especially commended the sense of responsibility of the officers and soldiers in the Parade Organizing Subcommittee of the Ministry of Public Security; the permanent support units and more than 3,400 officers, soldiers and students directly participating in the parade.

The Commander of the Mobile Police emphasized that the celebration had ended, but the echoes of the parade had left many good impressions, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism, the will to self-reliance, self-improvement, and the spirit of great national unity. Through the parade, the Ministry of Public Security reported to the leaders of the Party, the State, the people and international friends about the maturity and growth of the armed forces, including the People's Public Security, throughout the journey of gaining independence, unifying the country and building and developing the country. This activity also demonstrated the heroism and glory of the nation, creating confidence and momentum for the whole country to firmly enter a new era, an era of striving for development.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Van suggested that the Public Security of units and localities hold meetings to review experiences and evaluate the results of implementation; seriously review the shortcomings and limitations that the Parade and March Subcommittee has pointed out and propose solutions to rectify and overcome in the coming time. Relevant parties should do a good job of preparing for the parade and march training during the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2; review and ensure all regimes and policies for officers, soldiers and students participating in parades and marches and serving in accordance with regulations; do a good job of political and ideological education so that officers, soldiers and students returning to their units and schools can study and work with peace of mind, striving to excellently complete their assigned tasks.

The units organize the march, move the officers, soldiers, and students back to the unit to ensure absolute safety, organize the inspection, review, and thorough and complete statistics of all types of weapons, equipment, support tools, and vehicles serving the parade, ensuring strict compliance; absolutely do not let any loss or damage occur.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security and the Mobile Police Command commended 14 collectives and more than 2,700 individuals with outstanding achievements in participating in the parade and march in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
