Miss Culture Vietnam 2025: A beauty pageant honoring intelligence and national identity

According to information from the Organizing Committee, the Miss Multicultural Vietnam contest was approved by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports to be held under Document No. 3299/SVHTT-QLNT. This is a national beauty contest to honor the beauty, intelligence and cultural identity of Vietnamese women, where contestants not only show off their bodies, talents and bravery, but also spread the precious traditional values of the nation to the community at home and abroad.

The contest is also the official selection round to find a Vietnamese representative to participate in Miss Multicultural World - an international beauty arena gathering contestants from many countries and territories, where candidates compete not only in beauty but also in knowledge, talent and cultural understanding.

Both competitions bear the Vietnamese mark as they were founded and copyrighted by Miss Phan Kim Oanh, who is also the President and Founder of both Miss Multicultural Vietnam and Miss Multicultural World.

According to the rules, contestants must be female Vietnamese citizens, aged 18-33, graduated from high school or higher, with a minimum height of 1m63, and have never been married (single mothers are accepted).

Candidates will be selected through 3 rounds. The Preliminary Round (November 18, 2025) will select 40 candidates for the semi-finals, and the results will be announced on the fanpage within 7 days after the end of the preliminary round.

Semi-final round (November 22, 2025): Includes 3 competitions: Ao Dai, Evening Gown, Talent. In this round, the organizing committee will select 30 contestants for the final round, the results will be announced on the day of the semi-final round.

The final round will take place at Hoan Kiem Theater, Hanoi on November 23, 2025.

Speaking at the press conference, Miss Phan Kim Oanh said: “Miss Multicultural Vietnam does not only stop at honoring physical beauty, but also opens a journey to spread national cultural values. The contest is a gathering place for modern Vietnamese girls - brave, intelligent, and proud of national identity. Through the rounds, precious traditional values will be aroused, preserved and widely promoted to the community, especially the young generation and international friends.”

According to Miss Phan Kim Oanh, in the context of international integration, preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural identity has become extremely urgent. Miss Culture Vietnam was born to seek out models of women who are both modern, brave and intelligent, and who understand and respect traditional values. Not only a beauty contest, this is also a place to honor the beauty of Vietnamese culture from costumes, language, cuisine to rituals and customs; create a bridge between the young generation and heritage, arouse national pride; and at the same time inspire a beautiful, standard and patriotic lifestyle. Miss Culture, therefore, is not only a crowned beauty but also a cultural ambassador, with the mission of connecting the past and the present, contributing to affirming Vietnam's position on the world cultural map.

The Organizing Committee hopes that the first Miss Multicultural Vietnam will become a memorable milestone in the journey of spreading Vietnamese cultural values, arousing the spirit of pride and responsibility to preserve national identity in every Vietnamese heart.
