Violence, especially violence against women and children, not only causes physical harm but also tarnishes humanity. When it happens in front of children, those fearful looks will leave a lasting impression, sowing seeds of confusion and insecurity. What would happen to society if violence became “the norm”, if children grew up feeling that fists could solve any conflict?
It must be made clear that no reason can justify hooliganism. Personal conflicts and disagreements in communication, no matter how serious, must be resolved through dialogue or through the law. Punches and kicks not only hurt the victim but also damage the community’s trust in the safety of the place where they live.
From a legal perspective, this behavior is a serious violation that needs to be handled promptly and publicly to serve as a deterrent. The law only has real weight when it is enforced transparently, without exception, without compromise. But eliminating evil is not just the job of the authorities. The community and each individual must also contribute. In this case, there were people who stood by and watched without intervening, which is a dangerous silence. Evil grows when it is tolerated or ignored.
Poet Nguyen Quang Thieu called the perpetrator “an animal in human form”. It was not only an expression of anger, but also a warning: if humanity is forgotten, people will lose themselves and become a danger to their fellow human beings. Evil will always find a way to survive if the living environment allows it to infiltrate: the indifference of the community, the delay of the law, and the lack of education about personality.
If we want evil to have no place to appear, along with strictly handling all violations, we need to constantly cultivate human values in each individual. Children need to be taught that true strength does not lie in muscles, but in the ability to control and understand...
We cannot tolerate any manifestation of evil because one day, the victims of violence may be our own loved ones. Evil will only disappear when the whole community speaks up and acts together.
