In the rice market, today's prices slightly increased for some items compared to yesterday, IR 50404 fluctuated around 6,700 - 6,900 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice decreased by 200 VND/kg to 6,800 - 7,000 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice was priced at 6,700 - 6,800 VND/kg, up 100 VND/kg; OM 18 rice was priced at 6,900 - 7,100 VND/kg, up 200 VND/kg; OM 380 fluctuated from 6,800 - 7,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice was priced at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice is priced at 6,600 - 6,800 VND/kg, and Nang Nhen rice (dry) is at 20,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, the sticky rice market recorded no adjustment compared to yesterday. Long An sticky rice (dried) 7,000 - 7,900 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday. Rice market in localities in the Mekong Delta today is generally slow, there is a lot of bad rice, little supply, and little warehouse space.
Specifically, in Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quality is poor, the quantity is small, the price is stable, and the warehouse buys regularly. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the quality of rice is low, the warehouse buys little, and the price is stable compared to yesterday.
At retail markets, rice prices have not been adjusted for individual rice products.
