According to the forest fire warning information of the Department of Forestry and Forestry and the weather forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from August 9 to August 11, 2025, the weather in the communes and wards of Tinh Gia, Ngoc Son, Tan Dan, Hai Linh, Dao Duy Tu, Hai Binh, Nghi Son, Cac Son, Truong Lam, Truc Lam, Thanh Ky will continue to be hot and dry for a long time, with no rain, and the risk of forest fires is forecasted at level IV.
The characteristics of level IV (danger level) are prolonged dry weather, risk of large forest fires, and rapid fire spread.
The Forest Protection Department requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the above-mentioned communes and wards to direct the Steering Committee to implement the sustainable forestry development program and the Forest Protection Department to urge the implementation of forest fire prevention and control work by forest owners in the area.
Regularly check key fire-prone areas; organize forest fire patrols 24/7 (from 9am to 9pm), paying special attention to peak hours.
Forest owners and Forest Protection Departments must regularly and strictly inspect key fire-prone areas. Prohibit the treatment of forest vegetation, slash-and-burn farming and the use of fire in and around forests.
The Forest Protection Department has a firm grasp of weather conditions to forecast and promptly notify communes, villages, forest owners, and communities about forest fire forecast levels and local forest fire situations.
When a forest fire occurs, the Chairman of the Commune or Ward People's Committee mobilizes forces and means to participate in fire fighting; in case the forest fire is beyond the control of the commune, the neighboring communes or wards are requested to increase forces and means of support. At the same time, report to the Provincial Steering Committee for solutions to mobilize forces and equipment to support timely response.
