Feijuan Snack fast food shop always attracts a large number of students after school. Behind that is the close relationship between the students and the couple who own the shop. It is the students of a nearby elementary school who have helped the couple overcome economic difficulties and make their business more prosperous.

This fast food restaurant used to be a shoe store, but sales were very slow, causing the owner and his wife to fall into difficult circumstances.

However, throughout the entire time they operated the shoe store, the owners, Lin Jinghuan and Qiu Zhijuan, were always very kind to the students. They welcomed them to rest on the benches to try on shoes while waiting for their parents to pick them up.

“The students gave us a lot of useful advice,” said Lin. “They suggested we open a fast food store so they could have a cheap snack after school.

For example, we could sell small portions of noodles, fried potatoes, and fried chicken, because the children just want a snack after school, before going home for dinner. If the portion is large, they will be full and cannot enjoy their dinner. We thought this suggestion was very good and immediately tried it. The results were surprisingly good."

Since switching to selling snacks to serve students, Lin and his wife's business has become much more prosperous, and they quickly escaped economic difficulties.

Every day after school, many students flock to Feijuan Snack Shop to have a snack before going home. The special intimacy between the shop owners and their students quickly attracted the attention of the Chinese media and online community.

When interviewed, the students who visited the Lin couple’s store all said that they loved the couple because they always treated them with respect and kindness. When they visited the store, whether they bought anything or not, they always felt comfortable and happy because they were treated politely.

Mr. Lin and his wife also love the students very much. They revealed: "Some of them advise us on new dishes to make the menu more attractive. When the shop is too crowded, some of them stand up to help them take the order list of the little diners.

If some of the children were angry and quarreling, the others would intervene to calm things down. My husband and I were very impressed by the understanding of these children. It was they who helped my husband and I get out of financial difficulties when the shoe store was not doing well."
