Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) announced: "Based on the Disciplinary Decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Board, the tournament's Organizing Committee announces the suspension of Phu Tho Club from the National Second Division Football Tournament from the 5th match on May 3, 2025 according to the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Board.

The results of the matches that Phu Tho Club has played with other teams in the 2025 National Second Division Football Tournament will be canceled."
